Can’t help following to sing… Tease us to dance…!
Heard this numa numa song from my husband’s Ipod – he said it’s very popular in Japan now (just check in Roponggi), although his Bulgarian friend informed it’s already number one in Rumania (the origin) and other European countries last year.
I didn’t go dancing for quite long time, so I dunno whether it’s also a hit in the dance floor here in Jakarta. Maybe friends in Europe or abroad already sicked listening to this song, hehe.. but for ‘beginner’ like me this song us just tempting. And I think I like it coz not in English so sound exotic, and other thing: it's not another America song :)

The single was first released in 2003 in Romania, where the group currently lives and produces, and in the spring of 2004 in most other European countries. Beside the O-Zone, Haiducii, also released the song in Europe at around about the same time. There are a lot of versions, and also parodies, of this song, such as in Japanese, Dutch, English, English version, Brazil, Austrian with German lyrics, Afrikaans, French, Russian, Hebrew. According to Wikipedia, In May 2005, over a year after its original release, Dragostea Din Tei became a hit on Philippine radio. I’m sure if it’s launched in Indonesia, the dangdut version will come soon :)
